The Martha Stewart Piggy Bank
Parents are always saving for the future. Why not start your kids off saving now, if you haven't already done so? Start them off with a piggy bank in their room or keep one somewhere in your house for loose change. Many of us would just grab an old bottle and just rinse it out. We have an even better idea. Customize it! Make it fun and best of all, allow the kids to lead this one. Let them decide what the piggy bank should look like.
What You WIll Need:
1. Large Plastic Bottle
2. Double SIded Tape
3. Hot Glue

How to Make It:
1. Rinse an empty bottle with hot soapy water; let dry.
2. Cut features such as eyes, ears, and nostrils from construction paper (ears should have tabs).

5. Hot-glue empty thread spools on for legs.
6. Cut a slot at the top for coins.
