I had the most amazing opportunity last weekend while in San Diego, CA at the BlogHer 11 conference. I took a cooking class, on a stage, with Chef Marco Pierre White. This was absolutely amazing and fun because I love food, I love to eat and I love to learn. So, the cooking class was a perfect fit for me.
Chef Marco Pierre White offered the cooking class at the Knorr's booth and used the new Knorr Homestyle Stock (chicken flavor) in the dish. So,are you ready to find out exactly what we cooked? Okay, I learned how to make a delicious Asparagus Risotto with Chervil. All I can say is mmmmmmmmmm, yummy. I actually surprised myself with my capabilities, even though the Chef continued to assist me when my burner was too high and when I was burning the bottom of my pot. Besides, the few mishaps I had my dish turned out perfect.
The new Homestyle Stock was actually so simple to use. All you have to do is just peel off the plastic cover and just squeeze it into whatever fabulous dish you're cooking. It packs loads of flavor in the small tub. I honestly believe it can take a bland dish and make it scream delicious. I added some pictures from my fabulous time behind the pots and pans with Chef Marco Pierre White. If you love a risotto then you'll be happy to know that Chef Marco is sharing the recipe for the risotto I cooked as well as other recipes you can use the Knorr Homestyle Stock in. Enjoy the pictures. Click Here for the Chefs Recipes.
Disclaimer: Event participants received a cook book from Chef Marco Pierre White and samlpes of Knorr Homestyle Stock from Knorr. No other compensation was provided. All opinions expressed herein are my own. I can still taste the Asparagus Risotto, yummy.
