Eminem confesses to Anderson Cooper in a 60 minutes interview that when the microphones are turned off he's a father and yes he said it, there's no profanity in his house. He is known for his racey lyrics and profanity in his music but life at home is all about his family and being a good parent.
The 37 year old is a dad of three, 14-year-old Hailie and adopted daughters Alaina, 17, and Whitney, 8. "I'm a parent," he says. "I have daughters. I mean, how would I really sound, as a person...walking around my house (saying), 'B*tch, pick this up,' you know what I mean?...I don’t cuss."
His response to when kids listen to his music:
"It's up to their parents to teach them right from wrong."
His response to, do you feel a sense of responsibility to your young listeners who may repeat some of his mature lyrics:
"I feel like it’s your job to parent them. If you’re the parent, be a parent."
