The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and H&M announced a voluntary recall of Children’s Water Bottles sold exclusively at H&M stores nationwide. It is suggested that children/consumers stop using the product immediately. There have been reports that the bottle’s spout can break off and this is a choking hazard, especially to children. No injuries have been reported but there was an incident in England of the water bottle spout brekaing off in a child’s mouth while drinking, but there was no injury to the child.
Consumer Information: Consumers should immediately stop using the water bottle and return it to H&M for a full refund. For additional information, contact H&M toll-free at (855) 466-7467 or visit the firm’s recall page on its website at www.hm.com.
